Our goal is a safe, positive, family-friendly space where people share authentic pet moments — live. By using FurReal, you agree to follow these guidelines.

0. Who Can Use FurReal

A few basics before you join in.

You must be at least 18 years old to use FurReal.
One person, one account — accounts may not be shared, sold, or transferred.
You're responsible for everything that happens on your stream and in your chat.

1. Respect the Community

All users help keep streams clean, healthy, and welcoming. Treat streamers, viewers, moderators, and animals with kindness.

Not allowed:

Harassment, bullying, or intimidation
Hate speech or discriminatory language
Excessive arguing or toxic behavior
Threats or violent language
Trolling, baiting, or intentionally disrupting streams
Sexual, explicit, graphic, or disturbing content

2. Keep Language Family-Friendly

FurReal is meant to be comfortable for all ages.

Not allowed:

Profanity or excessive cursing
Slurs or offensive language
Sexually explicit language
Aggressive verbal abuse
Repeated inappropriate jokes or comments

Occasional mild expressions may be moderated based on context, frequency, and intent.

3. Animal Safety & Welfare First

Animal well-being is the foundation of FurReal.

Strictly prohibited:

Animal abuse or neglect
Dangerous stunts involving animals
Intentionally stressing or harming pets for views
Physical punishment shown on stream
Encouraging unsafe handling of animals
Starving, provoking, or frightening animals for entertainment
Showing graphic injuries or medical emergencies

If an animal appears to be in distress, moderators may remove the stream immediately. Suspected cruelty may be reported to the relevant animal-welfare or law-enforcement authorities.

4. No Animal Sales or Trading

FurReal is a community platform — not an animal marketplace.

Not allowed:

Selling pets or animals
Promoting pet breeding sales
Advertising puppies, kittens, reptiles, birds, or other animals for purchase
Auctioning or rehoming animals through livestreams
Directing users to outside animal sales
"DM me to buy", adoption-for-payment schemes, or backyard-breeding promotion

Legitimate rescue or nonprofit educational organizations may be reviewed separately. Contact us to apply.

5. No Commercial Selling

FurReal is designed for authentic pet moments — not livestream commerce.

Not allowed:

Selling products, product auctions, or flash sales during streams
Livestream shopping behavior & spam promotions
Affiliate-link pushing or repeated commercial advertising
MLM or business recruitment
Examples: pet-supply sales, supplements, apparel, crypto/NFT promotion, paid gambling or betting promotion

Limited brand partnerships or sponsorships may require prior approval from FurReal.

6. Authentic Content Only

We encourage real-life pet moments and genuine interaction.

Not allowed:

Fake or prerecorded content pretending to be live
Artificial engagement manipulation, view bots, or fake comments
Misleading titles or thumbnails
Scam giveaways
Impersonation of creators, brands, or organizations

7. Music & Background Audio

Background music is totally fine — just keep it safe to share.

Good to go:

Your own music, or royalty-free / no-copyright tracks
Any music you have permission to play

Please avoid:

Playing popular commercial songs you don't have the rights to
Re-streaming TV, films, sports, or other broadcasts

Simple rule of thumb: if it's a song you'd hear on the radio or from a famous artist, assume you can't use it. If a rights holder flags your stream, we may simply mute or remove that part — repeated or deliberate misuse can lead to further action.

8. Keep Streams Clean & Safe

Streamers are responsible for their livestream environment.

Streamers must:

Moderate chats responsibly and remove disruptive viewers when needed
Avoid unsafe or chaotic environments
Maintain appropriate backgrounds and surroundings
Keep streams reasonably clean and family-friendly

Not allowed:

Drug use or visible illegal activity on stream
Dangerous weapons display
Excessive intoxication
Adult or sexually suggestive behavior
Content depicting self-harm or encouraging harm to people

9. Protect Privacy & Safety

Respect personal privacy and safety — yours and others'.

Not allowed:

Doxxing or sharing personal information
Revealing addresses or phone numbers
Sharing private conversations without consent
Recording minors in unsafe or exploitative situations
Stalking or targeted harassment

Children appearing on stream must always be supervised by a responsible adult.

10. Spam & Platform Abuse

Do not manipulate or abuse the platform.

Not allowed:

Spam comments or repetitive messages
Fake engagement farming
Mass follow / unfollow behavior
Multiple accounts used for manipulation
Scam links, phishing, malware, or harmful external links

11. How to Report a Violation

See something that breaks these rules? Help us keep FurReal safe.

Use the Report button on any stream, profile, or comment
For urgent animal-safety concerns, flag the stream and contact our team directly
If a person or animal is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first

Reports are reviewed confidentially. We don't tolerate retaliation against people who report in good faith.

12. Moderation & Enforcement

FurReal may take action against accounts or content that violate these rules. Possible actions include:

Content removal or livestream interruption
Temporary livestream suspension
Account restrictions
Permanent bans
Removal from rewards programs

Severe violations involving animal cruelty, exploitation, scams, or illegal activity may be reported to the appropriate authorities.

Appeals: If you believe an action was taken in error, you may appeal within 14 days via our support team. We aim to respond within a few business days.

13. Live Stream Time Limits

Live stream time limits help maintain content quality, encourage active engagement, and reward creators as they grow their audience. Your live streaming time is based on your follower count.

0–49 followers: Up to 30 min per stream session, 60 min/day
50–199 followers: Up to 60 min per stream session, 120 min/day
200–499 followers: Up to 90 min per stream session, 180 min/day
500–999 followers: Up to 120 min per stream session, 240 min/day
1,000+ followers: Up to 180 min per stream session, 360 min/day
